 We will be PARCC testing the first week in March, so please make sure to get plenty of rest and eat a nutritious breakfast. In math, students will focus on the Common Core standards that emphasize volume. In reading, we will focus on biographies and writing a narrative dialogue. The last week in March is spring break!

Students are working hard on long division and dividing decimals. They are learning three different ways to divide, so please be patient as they figure out which way best meets their needs. I have provided some fun games that students can play at home under my links tab.

We have started the year with opinion/argumentative writing. Students are learning to pull evidence from a text and form their own opinions on topics from student cell phone use to character traits of fictional characters. Pearsonsuccessnet.com contains the story of the week and vocabulary games, enjoy!
