Euclid's Watch D.O.G.S. ProgramEuclid has a volunteer program aimed at getting father figures more involved in their children’s schools. The Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) program has been a huge success! Fathers, grandfathers, stepfathers, uncles, older brothers, cousins, mothers, and other important role models volunteer in Euclid classrooms for a half day at a time. They help students read, write and do mathematics. They spend recess and lunch with the students. Most importantly, they send the message that they think that school is important - important enough to spend their own valuable time at Euclid themselves. The response to the Watch DOGS program has been fantastic. More and more people keep hearing about it and are stepping forward to be involved. If you have any questions about the Watch D.O.G.S. program, please contact Ms. Ceisel at jceisel@rtsd26.org or 847-973-6396.
